Another great place to launch a small boat or Kayak.
Back in the early 50's, a dispute with a bottom dragger,
who kept taking out all the crab pots, made locals so mad, they
made large concrete and rebar blocks and dropped them from a small
floating dock not far off shore. Then they continued with washing
machines, car parts and legend has it, model A cars, to eventually
form a reef, which today has created a rich environment for
Dungeness crabs. (You wont find this stuff in any history
book).
This public area is very small, surrounded on both sides by
private property, only 50 feet wide with limited parking on the
side street. Please respect private property. A very busy place
during the crabbing season. This is such a small area how hard could it be?
If you find the cache hide it as well as you found it.
