This is a very easy cache that is wheelchair accessible. Enjoy the peace (when there are no people around)....listen to the cockies screech as they fly overhead, watch the neighbourhood kids play with a ball....bring a thermos and rest for awhile.
Glenbrook is a cute little village at the foot of the famous Blue Mountains and is located 70 kms west of Sydney. It has a population of 5,138 people. It is filled with fine coffee shops and little craft shops and makes a great day out. This cache is in the local park that adjoins the village. Depending on the day and the park activity this may be a high muggle area so you need to be really careful when retrieving it. It is a nano so take your own pen to record your cache.
Glenbrook lies between Lapstone and Blaxland at an elevation of 163 m (535 ft) and is approximately an hour's drive from Sydney. It is home to a large number of tourist attractions, recreational opportunities and native flora and fauna.
The suburb takes its name from Glenbrook Creek, which is on the southern side of the village and must be crossed to enter the Blue Mountains National Park.
A Thank You to wackydo and eaviate for the original cache placement.
