Pleasant walk in the Hemi Matenga Scenic Reserve
Cache hidden on Kohekohe Walkway.
Park in Tui Crescent and walk up driveway to walk start. (chain across driveway seems to be locked at most times)
Kohekohe Walk an easy 30 minute loop walk to Kakariki Grove and back along local streets
Walk is uphill for a while then before the cache area it becomes a relatively flat nice walk through the bush on a good wide well formed track.
Cache is a micro container with log sheet only.
However should be fairly easy to find with hints and outer camo which is relatively obvious.
Please bring pen / pencil - found logs not matching logsheet will be removed
Caution: large bugs in the area!!
Cache a few metres off track on downhill side.
Please ensure cache is well concealed, but slightly showing before you leave - with all the tree cover GPS coverage is fairly poor but hint will get you there.
Watch for muggles - they can appear from either direction suddenly.
