Geocache Description:

An ox on the docks made of recycled digger parts forms a striking
reminder of Portishead's industrial past.*

The installment of public art near Portishead's marina overlooks
the Bristol Channel near the head of the dock. It is the creation
of Bristol-based artist Jason Lane, 38.
He said: "As it was so industrial down there I wanted to do a piece
which reflected that.
"I chose an ox because it is used as a working animal in many
countries."

The Ox is part of the Portishead Public Art Trail. The first chapter of the Riddle Of The Stones (visit link) a highly recommended walk, ends close to the Ox. The area is accessible for bikes and buggies, for instance coming from the docks. Along the Marina you can find several restaurants.

The cache is a small magnetic key holder containing a logsheet. There is very little space, just enough for a small
geocoin or some tiny swaps. Please replace exactly as found!!
There is a little keyring for FTF. Congratulations to UltimatePace!
The cache was placed with kind permission of Jason Lane, N-Somerset
Council and the Portishead Public Art Programme Curator.
