Geocache Description:

******** Congratulations to fordrace34 for FTF!!! ********

Located in Boundary Waters Park in Douglas County. We love mountain biking here, and while there are many geocaches already here in the park, we decided what it needed was an extreme version - a cache on the farthest side of the Red Trail. A trail map is linked on the Related Web Page link.

Parking lot is behind the aquatic center or access from behind the ballfields. You are looking for a small tupperware container. Approximate distance from the parking lot as the crow flies is about 1.5 miles, but round trip on the trails is 6 - 7 miles total depending on which way you go. The Red Trail is mainly a loop, but there are intersections. Easiest way around is either always turn left or always turn right for a loop. For the best experience, be sure to take the loop all the way around and enjoy the views of the Chattahoochee River. You will not have to venture off of the trail too far to find the cache.
