Il reste encore des vestiges importants du château de Roquefort au lieu dit le Castellas, à 3 kilomètres au nord-est de la mairie actuelle.
En 1241, Roquefort est inhabité. Son territoire est alors acheté par les habitants de Saint-Paul. Dans la première moitié du XIVe siècle, Roquefort est occupé par un moine brigand et sa troupe. En 1341, les habitants de Saint-Paul les chassent et détruisent le château.
There are still some remains of the castle of Roquefort in Castellos locality, 3 kilometers northeast of the current city center.
In 1241, Roquefort is uninhabited. Its territory was then bought by the people of St. Paul. In the first half of the fourteenth century, Roquefort is occupied by a monk and his bandit gang. In 1341, residents of St. Paul chase them and destroy the castle.
