CELEBRATING 14 YEARS CANCER FREE!!
This cache is dedicated to my wife, Kathy, who just celebrated 16 years cancer free! Back on January 15, 2001 Kathy was diagnosed with breast cancer. On January 15, 2017 she celebrated 16 years cancer free!
This cache is also dedicated to two young men with a BIG vision and even BIGGER hearts! On a sunny summer day a few years ago, Max and his buddy Doug, eighth graders in Bloomington at the time, hatched an inspiring idea. They decided that they wanted to donate a portion of their yard work earnings to breast cancer research. Because of there idea, they started a nation wide program that is going strong today for breast cancer research. They are committed to finding a cure for breast cancer!
It is because of people like Max and Doug who have chosen to do something about cancer research that people like my wife can celebrate many years cancer free…Thanks Max, Doug, and always thinkpink
