Geocache Description:

Just wanted to thank "the Caching Nuts" for transferring this to me. Enjoy nature on this hike.

We are bringing you back to this open land space as we feel it is worth the walk. This is the same DENTED cache container from the original cache still keeping the contents dry! Please hide as found or better Same notebook but with the original logs torn out. And somewhere near the previous final spot but not at the final spot Please stay on the well marked trails as some are very close to private property which is also well marked.

So revisit this cache that is sitting on top of South Mountain above Emmaus on 26 acres that now belongs to the Wildlands Conservancy. This once was an excavating area for minerals and iron ore. Telltale signs of the quarry holes and trail mounds are still visible as you walk the trails, which where once part of the mining roads. You can take either upper or lower trail to get to the cache, both are a pleasant walk. There is a trail map in the parking area.

Parking is at N 40 º 31.069 W75º 29.443 Look for the mail box number 4892 to turn into the common driveway You will see the Wildlands sign on the left as you enter the parking lot . There is room for 2-3 cars.
