Take a hike!
The McBride Trail in Rancho Palos Verdes is a mile-long trail offerering spectacular views of the Palos Verdes coastline and Catalina Island. The public trail was dedicated in 1989 for local resident Clifton R. McBride who spent 13 years improving and maintaining it. Click on the related web page link above for a preview of the trail and its dedication.
Park on adjacent residential streets, see the marked Parking Waypoint. At the cache, the trail is graded, wide and should be wheelchair accessible.
If you keep hiking along the trail past the cache, you'll be rewarded with great views. The walk is easy/moderate - there are some rocky areas and minor inclines along the way. The steepest grade is at the western end of the trail. As always, please be aware of natural hazards and bring water.
At the cache location, you will have no GPSr reception. You'll need to use geosense and bring your own pen/pencil. Room for tiny swag :D only.
Congratulations to mpulele for FTF!
