Geocache Description:


Some bridges are big and obvious to see. Others are small. Some get used every day by thousands. Others don't get any attention at all. Here's a cache placed at a bridge that likely falls into the overlooked category. I have a feeling it's probably one that many drive past without even realizing that it is still here. Yes, the new bridge is more modern and likely safer, but this old bridge still seems to possess extra character that the new one lacks.

Searching for its history has so far brought about no results, but this forgotten bridge does still get some use. The USGS has a gauging station placed nearby and regular monitoring of Piney Run is conducted here.

The container you seek is a small bison tube containing just a log. It's tucked away near one of the unique features to this bridge — the small trees that grow on it!
