Geocache Description:

(now permanently at it's re-located spot) N48 38.596 W123 24.029 nearby park has re-opened. You will find this film canister inside it's camouflaging (you may need to check out the clue if you're having difficulty finding it) beside one of the cedar trees, no need to bushwhack just spot it and retrieve it. On the day I positioned the cache my GPS was stable to one metre.

At near-by Iroquois Park in Sidney you'll find:
Waymark Code: WM8YC8: The Steam Ship Iroquois sank near Sidney 10 April 1911 with the loss of 21 lives. The wreck was found and the screw (propeller) recovered in 1977. The 6 ft diameter cast iron screw was mounted in Iroquois Park in 1981.

Lots of parking nearby but watch for the signs, many of the spots are reserved for vehicles with boat trailers and vehicles with boat ramp fee receipts.

If you plan to take in the park, it has a great playground and waterpark and you can take the time to enjoy the ducks in the ponds. The park is a great place for a sunny day picnic.
