A very nicely done-up ammo box that we won as a prize in an event.
This is our first cache placed, back in 2011.
Looking up to the East, you can see Pilot's Point, which was used 170-200 years ago by the pilots of the wagon trains to navigate (especially Westward & Southward) across Texas.
There's a brand new geocoin and some regular prizes in it to start. How long to FTF, we're wondering?
We check on it every once in a while and try to keep it stocked with prizes.
Watch out for poison ivy! Just after a controlled burn (performed every few years), there's hardly any, but it grows back all around here. Also plenty of fire ants are around, depending on time of year and weather. Could be a snake, just be careful. There are often deer right here, too. Look for them or their footprints and scat.
