A Wherigo tour of Founders Park in Nelson, New Zealand that will
lead you to a cache hidden there.
The cache is not hidden at the published coordinates. These are the
starting point for a Wherigo tour of Founders Park. Investigate
some of the historic and interesting buildings and features there.
Answer some questions posed by your guide and discover the final
hiding place of the cache that's hidden there.
Enjoy the charms of days gone by. At Founders Heritage Park
experience life as it was in Nelson in the 1880s to 1930s. Stroll
through the character streets, tranquil established gardens and
charming village greens.
Note that this park is NOT open 24/7 - sorry nocturnals those are
the rules.
Opening hours are: 10.00am - 4.30pm - every day except Christmas
Day and Good Friday.
Although there is an entrance fee for visitors from out of town,
locals (Nelson region residents) and their guests can access the
park for free.
On a nice day its a great spot for children of all ages with a
playground and cafe on site too.

The cache itself is a 200ml camo painted Sistema container with
log, pencil, sharpener, eraser and room for small swaps. Please
replace it as found with the stone on top to keep it in
place.
