Geocache Description:

Great Tinkers Wood is a lovely wooded place in the Downley area of High Wycombe. There is also a lovely open area which would be ideal for picnics in the summer if you wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of other areas of High Wycombe. This is the first in a small series of caches located in Great Tinkers Wood.

Cache placed with kind permission of the National Trust.

EDIT: Recently checked on the cache and the original easy path to the cache has now been blocked by a fallen tree. I was still able to assess it this way but it involved climbing and best only for the fit and able. Other routes to the cache are available (as for my exit) as the cache is Still there in its original spot (11-Feb-2015).

Please bring a pen to be on the safe side as the pens missing. I'll try to replace at some point.

On a note for the HINT.. some posters have mentioned this was not a help.
This cache was placed 3 years ago and at the time the Gz site was covered in massive whatever the hint is about. This was very unique and made it stand out massively. Ive checked the site over its time and its always been good and valid. This was my 1st visit for a while & im not sure if this year the hint is no longer valid or if its a seasonal issue. I fear they have been destroyed as previously they were there all year round.

Happy caching.

Container is approx 1 litre snap and lock box.
Contents when first placed were: Small bubbles, children's door hook, Keyring tool set, Clip on retractable pen, Heart rubber and squidgy duck that lights up. Please leave retractable pencil in the cache along with the log book
