Seeing I won a lucky door prize (a cache) at the event yesterday, I decided I better hide it pronto! And, as I was out in this neck of the woods – I decided - let’s go hide it here! From here, you will sight the old ski site!
Yes, from this location, you will get views over the Corin Ski facility! Alas, as of 2003, there is no more skiing to be had here! But there is still Bob-sled riding, and I can assure you – that is fun! The fact that the skiing is no longer available is a little sad, considering that this is where I learnt to ski! (A few decades ago) - (Before advancing to the real ski fields!)
If you sit on the ledge overlooking the facility whilst it’s open, you will see and hear the screams of the riders as they take corners too fast!
Coincidently there is also a large rock here. It looks like a face, but I couldn’t tell if it was happy or grumpy! The rock looks over the facility, and has the best view! The only way to get better views is to climb the rock! – But that would be a 5 star terrain! (Bonus points if you go there for the best pic!).
