Geocache Description:

Sping is here and it's time again for the

Easter Cache-Olympic games!

Saturday April 23rd, 1pm- 4pm


It's time once again to put on your running shoes for the skirt lift competition, and warm up your throwing arm for the ammo can toss!

Come join us for a fun filled Easter saturday afternoon filled with lots of events the whole family will enjoy!

Several activities and prizes are being planned including many of the favorites and a few new games as well...

guess the weight of the ammo can

Closest to actual weight without going over wins

closest to the pin

Closest to stake a flag to pre-determined coordinates wins

skirt lift competition

Run to the skirt, lift it, find micro, sign log, return as found, run back. Shortest time completing requirements wins

ammo can toss

Who can toss an ammo can the farthest? No windups, Underhand toss only

GPSr etch-a-sketch

Draw a pre-determined image on your GPSr track recorder. Judge determines most accurate as winner

egg relay race

Using a spoon and balloon, contestants must complete a course without dropping or popping the egg and balloon

golden egg hunt

Coordinates will be given to three eggs hidden in the park, contestants will be timed on finding what is inside the golden eggs

water balloon toss

a little less messy than eggs, water balloons will be tossed between contestants and tossed back and forth without dropping the balloon

micro log roll

Using a balloon, in a race contestants must blow the balloon up and use the air in the balloon to roll a bison tube across the finishline

FGA will be hosting a 50/50 raffle

tickets are $1 each or 6 tickets for $5

an Easter egg hunt is planned for all the jr. geocachers that attend

***Snacks and Refreshments***

light snacks and refreshments will be provided. (i.e. cookies, candy, chips, fruit, water and soda) this is not a luncheon, so don't come ready for a large meal

Please Bring your lawn chairs!

there are very few areas to sit at this site, but it has plenty of space for the cache-games, so please bring a chair with you if you have one and are going to need to sit through the day
