Geocache Description:

Based near the grounds of Kenilworth Castle, this cache may take some hunting, but is plenty big enough for "swag" and travel bugs etc.

This Cache, placed on Mother's day 2011, can form part of a pleasant walk around the outskirts of Kenilworth castle.

The cache can be found in an area to the south of the castle that was once a floodwater for the castle defences known as the "great mere".

When placed, the area was quite accessible, but may be harder to get to in summer months - watch out for nettles and brambles.

You may find it easier to access the cache via a gap between the trees slightly to the right of the given co-ordinates.

If you take an item from the cache, please remember to "trade up", and mention it when you log your visit.
