Version 1: One Iconic Day Challenge:
Find eight different cache types all in one day.
Version 2: One Super Iconic Day Challenge:
Find ten different cache types all in one day.
The Challenge is to find at least EIGHT different cache types in one day.
RULES:
1. You must first complete the challenge portion of this cache by finding at least EIGHT cache types in ONE DAY! The acceptable cache types are:
Traditional
Multi-
Virtual
Letterbox Hybrid
Event
Cache In Trash Out Event
Mega-Event
Unknown
Groundspeak HQ
Project APE
Webcam
Earthcache
GPS Adventures Exhibit
Wherigo
Lost and Found Event
Groundspeak Lost and Found Celebration
2. Previous finds DO count therefore "Lost and Found Event" and "Groundspeak Lost and Found Celebration" caches are acceptable.
3. Benchmarks, Locationless and Challenges Completed types do NOT count toward the goal!
4. Cache hides/placements do NOT count toward this goal. Only finds are valid.
5. New cache types will be added when, or if, they are created at the home office.
6. This cache container cannot count toward its own goal. This cache does not count as the Unknown cache type and cannot be one of your eight, or ten, caches. If you find an Unknown cache type as part of this challenge, it cannot be this cache.
7. In order to log your find and get your smiley, you must locate the physical cache and sign the log. (The cache is at the coordinates listed above.)
8. You are not required to find this cache container on the same day you fulfilled the challenge requirements. You do need to include in your log the date that you fulfilled the challenge requirements, though. If you do find this cache on the same day, you must do so after fulfilling the requirements. You cannot find 3 cache types, then sign the log for this cache, then find the 5, or 7, remaining cache types.
9. Caches may be from any location/state. This challenge is not restricted to the Hershey/Chocolatetown area. The cache title includes "ChocolateTown" simply to clarify where this cache is physically located compared with the other Busy Day caches.
10. You do not need to obtain permission from the cache owner before logging this find. The cache owner may attempt to contact you for clarification before deleting any logs.
To complete this Challenge cache do the following:
1. Fulfill the challenge requirements (see the Rules section for details).
2. Create a public bookmark list containing your qualifying caches OR you can list the caches you found (GC#, Name, Type) in your log (example below) OR you can cut-and-paste the proof from your profile page.
3. The posted coordinates are the actual location of the cache. The final cache is a 3.0/1.5 star on difficulty and terrain.
4. Find the cache at the given coordinates. In your log please tell us about your day meeting the requirements not just “TFTC” or “TNLNSL”. I will then add your name to the list of ChocolateTown Cachers below.
5. Write down the information on the log sheet as it will be necessary to find ChocolateTown Challenge: Rub-A-Dub-Dub (FINAL-ly).
GOOD LUCK and you must have fun!!
