Geocache Description:

The cache is located near the Kozya Stena Hut at 1630m. above sea level. Your starting point are Beklemeto. Distance to the cache is about 6km (2 hours)

Kozya Stena (Goat's Wall) is the name of the smallest reserve included in the Central Balkan National Park. The reserve is located on the steepest parts of the southern slopes of Stara Planina. He has kept a unique ancient forest, cut by deep ravines of Rogacheva River. Under Kozya Stena Peak (1670 above sea level) is one of the richest deposits of mountain edelweiss, which is a protected species. Here you can see bear, deer, wild boar and many species of raptors. The upper Kozya Stena Reserve is a very scenic ridge - we can enjoy the magnificent views. The atmosphere of this place is beautiful and you will really enjoy to visit it.


  Български   Козя стена е името на най-малкия резерват включен в националния парк Централен Балкан. Резерватът се намира на най-стръмните части на южния склон на Стара планина. Той е съхранил уникална вековна гора, прорязана от дълбоките долове на Рогачева река. Под връх Козя стена (1670 м.над.в.) е едно от най-богатите находища на старопланински еделвайс, който е защитен вид. Тук са често срещани мечката, благородния елен, дивата свиня, както и много видове грабливи птици. Горната част на резерват Козя стена представлява изключително живописно било, от което можем да се насладим на величествени гледки. Атмосферата на това сравнително малко по площ място е прекрасна и наистина си струва да се посети.
