Just another nice drive to rural NE Story County. This cache site is within a mile of the geographic center of Iowa (well... it depends on who you talk to). Stay off the tracks - trains go by this spot all the time!
Be on the lookout for a grouchy farmer that has the nearby field. He can be quite touchy during planting/harvest time. He shouldn't be too much of a problem the rest of the year, so stealth may be necessary.
If you take this road to the south of the cache site you will eventually see a red, white and blue pole out in the middle of the field to the east (north of US-30). This pole is one of the markers for the center of the state.
