"The Dwarves delved too deeply. Who knows what secrets they awakened in the darkness?"
Lord of the Rings Series #7: Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone...
A tennis ball-type canister. Please make sure plastic lid is pressed back on securely. Contains a couple writing instruments, a log notebook in ziplock and some goodies. FTF gets first trade option.
Muggles on site might include people using the soccer fields, however cache is well back behind the fields and should not be an issue. Hid the cache with my 3 and 5 year old daughters in tow. We enjoyed the walk on this early spring day to make the hide.
THE ONE RING OF NORTHAPMTON PARK
I am introducing a special feature to this series. Sam Gamgee was briefly a Ringbearer when he took the One Ring from the seemingly lifeless body of Frodo in the lair of Shelob.
You also can be a Ringbearer, and for a time take possession of the One Ring. It now awaits any who want to take it up and keep it on the move so that the ever watchful eye of Mordor cannot come to rest upon it. This is a travel bug who's goal is to move from one LOTR cache to another, and begins its journey with the Samwise LOTR Series #1 cache.
If you take this item, please bear it to another cache in this LOTR series and hide it there. Take a picture of yourself or the ring in some Peter Jackson-worthy pose along the way and share it on the One Ring's TB page. Will not fit into the Isengard cache, and its probably just as well that it not get to close to the White Wizard anyhow.
