South end of the Dismal Swamp Canal Trail
This is located in a city park. Available hours are sunrise to sunset. The park is a linear multi-use trail on the edge of the Dismal Swamp. Bear are frequently seen in the area and I have seen bear scat near where this one is placed. Please use common sense and good judgment when visiting the trail. Cache is near one of the granite markers along the Dismal Swamp Canal. A book sized lock-n-lock container under lots of the available ground cover. The road just south of this cache is NOT an access road for the Dismal Swamp Canal Trail. If you are using it to access this cache you are doing so illegally and giving geocaching a bad name. PLEASE utilize this trail as it is intended to be utilized. Parking is available to the north near GC2DV35 "heading to the water"
