Geocache Description:

I am not normally a fan of magnetic micros, but I will make an exception to bring you here as it is an interesting spot.

The "Jeff", normally moored right by the cache site, was one of the "little ships" that evacuated troops from Dunkirk in 1940 (visit link)

Be aware that if you are bringing children to this there is nothing between you and the river. It is a well established pathway however.

If you want to make an expedition of it you could get a ferry up to Hampton Court from near the cache site (they run from April to October), then walk back to Kingston along the opposite bank picking up the trail of caches on that side.
