DEC land. Be sure to have your permit. Parking lot is used for the
baseball complex but is on DEC land. There are no obvious trails so
some light bushwacking is required. Cache is a small lock and lock
hidden in an unusual manner.
Boudicca, queen of the Iceni people of Eastern England was a
redheaded warrior who led a revolt against occupying Roman forces
around 60 AD. Boudicca's warriors successfully defeated the Roman
Ninth Legion and destroyed the capital of Roman Britain, then at
Colchester. Boudicca was defeated by a Roman army led by Paulinus.
Many Britons were killed and Boudicca is thought to have poisoned
herself to avoid capture. The site of the battle, and of Boudicca's
death, are unknown. I think she was not killed, but is immortal.
She might turn up anywhere. Be on your guard around any area that
looks like a battlefield!
