Geocache Description:


At 9:53 p.m., Gina and Jerry had almost dozed off, when suddenly they heard a loud crash. They quickly ran out of the house and looked toward the din. Smoke was filling the air and it was glowing with an eerie, stange, green hue. Their curiosity got the best of them and they had to investigate the sightiing immediately. Being well-trained in being prepared,(probably because they are avid geo-cachers!), Gina grabbed the GPS and a notebook. Jerry grabbed the car keys and the remote walkie-talkies. Why the walkie-talkies?, Gina asked. Ya just never know!, was Jerry's reply. They arrived at the site with the green sky and noticed a really large frisbee. They heard a commotion and saw someone, or SOMETHING, clamoring out of the frisbee. The creature started beeping at them. He was trying to communicate. Gina took notes: four long beeps, four short beeps, and a series of other dots and dashes. Jerry used his knowledge of the Morse Code and responded with his own set of dots and dashes. The Earthlings and the alien were actually having a conversation. Are We in Roswell? Gina seemed confused. The little green man asked again, " Are we in Roswell? My ship had a malfunction with the GPS and I seemed to have gone off course." Roswell is known for its alien sightings. Jerry told the creature that he missed Roswell by about 250-300 miles, west. "So where am I?" beeped the large frisbee inhabitant. Jerry lost his footing from laughing so hard. "A place near San Angelo. That's in Texas." , he answered. Are they F-R-I-E-N-D-L-Y?, the alien wanted to know. "Y-E-S! Just watch out for those desparadoes on Toe Nail Trail." Jerry replied. Gina marked the landing site with her GPS and told him we'll be back. We have to get our camera and our friends, Charli, Bill, and Carolyn. B-Y-E F-R-I-E-N-D-S! Happy Caching.
