World Wide Flash Mob VIII: Halloween in June


This event is part of the WWFM VIII - World Wide Flash Mob coordinated events (see growing bookmark list): Thousands of geocachers at dozens of events all around the globe, gathering at the same time.

We will meet at 1pm sharp for a 15minute event in the middle of Palmer Square Green in Princeton, near the tree... In Halloween costumes! It can be as simple as a set of cat ears, but please dress up: it's a flash mob, we will be there to draw attention! (Info sheets will be available to curious passerbys.)

Flash Mob: a group of people [Geocachers!] coordinated by email Geocaching.com to meet to perform some predetermined action at a particular place and time and then disperse quickly**

Schedule of Events:


1:ooPM Converge on GZ (prior to this time, please be off the green). Log sheets will be handed out- sign and return. (Note: only logs collected DURING the event will be eligbable to log the event. Also BYOP, pens will not be handed out with log sheets!)

1:04PM Snacks distributed.

1:08PM Group picture! Assemble in front of the tree, please listen to the photographer for additional instructions.

1:12PM Costume contest! Please vote for your favorite, most creative costume, a prize will be awarded. Swag bucket will also be available.

1:14PM One minute warning!

1:15PM Disperse and LEAVE GZ.

The event is just 15minutes but feel free to come early or linger after. We will try and place several new caches in the area as well as organize an "after party" lunch group, for those interested, at a local establishment. This event will be held rain or shine, please come prepared for the elements.
