This small brook by the cache can some times be running pretty fast but usually just a trickle or dryed out, As a child we use to follow this down to the water works at Green Bottam,naming the very steep path that ran along side it 'jacob's ladder' then we would carry on to Saint Anthony spring for a game of, I will dare you to jump in! out of the five of us, only four had the fun of watching one jump into the cold cold water!
