How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

A slim cannister.

The Red Lion public house marks a major junction in Barnes with access to Queen Elizabeth Walk which is home to 49f Squadron Air Cadets, SMB Scouts, Barnes RFC (the oldest football club in the land), the London Wetland Centre (formerly Resevoirs) and Barn Elms playing fields home of Barnes Eagles FC.

This cache forms part of the SMB (St Mary Barnes) Scout Group series of caches which were assembled by the Scouts and hidden by the assistant Scout leader (Scornelian) as an introduction to Geocaching. Scouts can use Geocaching towards achieving their Navigator badge.

We have tried to be a bit diverse with our cache types and hides with a pencil in most and there are swaps in those big enough to accommodate. We hope you enjoy this series as we expand it.
