How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Cache run at 3:30pm, Food at 6:00pm. Get off work early and find some caches!

This is a meet-n-greet at the Park Meadows Mall Food Court, an event catalyzed by suz55tbird's visit from New Mexico. We'll gather as a group at 6:00 p.m. to eat, drink and be merry, allowing time before the event for geocaching.

We'll meet by the fireplace inside the food court (coordinates on this page are approximate). Door prize drawing to be held at 6:30pm. Door prize tickets will be the usual $1 each or 6 for $5.

In honor of Suz's interest in searching in the cache-dense Douglas County area, I am holding this event to get cachers together to welcome the warmer weather and the start of caching season. Say "hello" to someone you haven't seen since last summer and make some plans to go caching.

If you want to go on a cache run (mini cache machine?) before the event, meet us at 3:30pm by Sax's nearby "County Line Station - RTD Light Rail" geocache, GC2KYKV. It's in the parking lot not far from the coordinates on this page so you should have no trouble finding it. There are several caches in the immediate area around the mall so we'll be able to get back in time for the actual event.
