Three stage multi cache.
Iwafuneyama is 172.8 meter high mountain. The shape of the mountain looks like a ship which is “Fune” in Japanese made its name.
Quarrying in the area resulted unique landscape and several movies were taken utilizing the scenery.
Also at the top of the mountain is a historical temple Koshoji from year 775. There are a lot to see, please check yourself.
Caution!: Due to the earthquake on March 11, there are some landslides and some areas are dangerous, so please be careful.
The cache is about 19 x 12 x 9 cm plastic box.

岩船山は標高172.8ｍ、船のような形をしていることから名付けられたとのこと。
採石が行われていたため岩肌が露出しており特異な景観を呈しています。映画の撮影にもよく使われるそうです。
またこの山の頂上には775年に創建された高勝寺という地蔵尊を祀る立派なお寺があります。見所がいろいろあるので来てのお楽しみ。
3.11の地震で崖の一部が崩れており、危険なところもあるので十分にご注意ください。
