This cache is located on private property but you have the owners permission to find it. This cache is easiest to find by parking at the highway and bushwhack to it. Be careful crossing the road.
Placed in a overgrown field along a woods line. Be careful of the barbed wire along the woods line. This is snake country, be careful of them. Also be aware of ticks.
I have rated this a 3 since it is on top of a summit and you will certainly get a small work out.
You may want to follow some of the 4 wheeler trails in the summertime, since the area is overgrown with golden rods and weeds.
This is one of my favorite elk bedding areas. Don't be surprised if you spot elk near the cache.
There are camp grounds near by, please cache during the day time during summer months. Help keep this area clean & wear orange in hunting season.
