agora que o vi não preciso dele. Utilizai-o nesta terra para que
todos tirem dele o que mais desejarem. Afinal, a minha capa era uma
capa rica. Que o meu Deus vos abençoe.»
Calaram-se
as gentes, porque há momentos em que só o silêncio é dono das
vontades. Talvez, quem sabe, se tenha calado o mar, por um momento,
ou tenha marulhado, pela Mulher, uma oração ao Sol.
Foi assim
que esse areal, hoje pejado de corpos nos Verões do tempo, tomou o
nome de Caparica, em memória de uma Mulher que ali apareceu um dia,
quando era Miúda, vinda dos caminhos da terra, coberta por uma capa
já velha.
Eis um
excerto da velha lenda que deu nome a esta freguesia.
Para
iniciar a subida até lá acima há que ir primeiro ao inicio do
trilho (ver WayPoint) depois é so seguir o trilho até á
cache.

The people

That's how
the sand, now littered with bodies in the summer time, took the
name de Caparica, in memory of a woman who appeared there one day
when I was young, coming from the paths of earth, covered with a
layer already old.
