Geocache Description:

There are some great places to hike and explore in Marin. Many of those areas can be found around the lakes and streams on the MMWD watershed. Take “Erickson’s Point” for example. Erickson’s Point offers a very quiet and serene location with minimal visitors. This lack of visitors is probably due to the fact that the location does not appear on many (any) maps. However the parking area is being published here to encourage you to go and take a look. From the parking area it is an interesting walk down to the waters edge and glorious views – if you are so inclined to take that stroll.

The author ventured down that “path” but settled for taking a picture from about 500 feet from the waters edge.

At GZ you are looking for an ammo can south of the trail (right of the trail as you head to the lake) in a burned out stump that became a stump when a logger cut the tree down. There is a FTF geocoin that has been in my possession for far too long and a $2.00 bill for the FTF.

Enjoy
