Another cache in an amazing park!
There are so many things to see and experience in this fantastic park. Lots of caches to find too. If you spend a lot of time exploring you could get hungry. Don't worry the forest has lots for you to eat depending on the time of year. Some of the foods you can find include -
- salal berries, huckle berries, salmon berries & thimble berries
If you can identify the berries then enjoy some but be sure to leave food for the forest animals & birds.
Cache is a sandwich L&L. Tree cover made it tricky to get a perfect GPS reading (averaged it over 150 times). It's along the loop trail, a bit north of Deer Fern Trail & about 5 feet to the west of the path. No bushwhacking is needed.
Please be careful when rehiding the cache. DO NOT DROP heavy items on top of the container.
