Welcome to the valley of cemetaries, make your way up either hill to visit the Lutheran Cemetary or the Veteran's Cemetary which is taken care of by the local VFW club. I placed the cache here to highlight the hidden cemetaries especially the one that is the final resting place for the one's that went off to protect our freedoms and returned home.
My father was a President of the local VFW so one of my jobs as a kid was to help out with different activities especially the Memorial Day program where the VFW has a ceremony here and one of the other cemetaries located along the main gravel road back here. Even though I aim to highlight the Veteran's cemetary I also advise if you have time to take in the Lutheran Church's cemetary located off to the west here as both of these cemetaries reflect the past of this area and are well taken care of.
This cache is not in the cemetary, but located just off the roadway. Please respect the cemetary if any ceremonies are being held.
