Yet another cache along The Miner's Walk at Begelly.
The cache is a nano with just a log sheet to sign so bring a pen.
It's not easy !!!
The route also makes use of the old "dramway", the former railway line between Thomas Chapel and Begelly, which once carried coal from mines at Broom and Thomas Chapel to Saundersfoot. The hedgebanks abound with plant and bird life, and the ditches alongside the line are alive with frogspawn in the early spring.
The path has recently been re-surfaced so it makes a pleasant walk. It's ok for buggy's although a little bumpy.
