You can make this more of a challenge by swimming across the dam if you are camped on the northern side. If you intend to camp here please abide by the fire restrictions that may apply at the time. The roads to the cache and the many campsites are easily negotiated by car in any weather. These are popular rally roads so if you end up here during one of these events you may be turned away at a road-closure. I hope you enjoy this area as we have over many years.
