A Drive Over The Wild Cabrach - A Dartmoor Tor on The Cabrach
Small lock box with usual goodies.
Many years ago on a holiday on wild Dartmoor, we accidentally sort of fell into Dartmoor Letterboxing. We had a whale of a time and spent the rest of our time there scouring OS maps (no GPS in those days). The children especially enjoyed scrambling over the rocks in search of old ammo boxes.
Well the children are grown up now, so we go letterboxing (caching) on our own.......but every time we pass this outcrop we are reminded of Dartmoor, and when we really started this hobby, sport, pastime, obsession, it looks so like a Dartmoor Tor.
Cache is located on south side of upper Tor, scramble through the heather and Juniper, crush a leaf & smell the gin!
Limited parking, don't block the gate!
