Do you recall the great movie "The Time Machine" with Rod Taylor and the incomparibly beautiful Yvette Mimieaux made in 1960? Well if you look towards the NW you will see 2 large round concrete structures. Now some may tell you these are part of the water pipeline put through here a few years ago but in reality they are access pipes (you can see them in that movie) for the underground dwelling greeninsh brutish Morlocks. Light bothers them so they would ascend these vertical pipes to capture the fair, naive, innocent Eloi. The Morlocks provided the needs for the Eloi but extracted a terrible price from them--taking them down to eat them. You'll see a few more of these Morlock entrances as you travel eastward on Highway 58. Just don't stop here at night or the Morlock could mistake you for an Eloi.
