retiredprof: In light of geocaching's recent changes to the publishing rules, I am archiving all 150 of my challenge caches. I am a retired psychology professor, not a computer programmer. I am simply unable to comply with the new geochecker rules. I am sad that I have to do this. For those who have already begun any of my challenge caches, please note that you can still log archived caches. If you have any problems with this decision, please contact the geocaching authorities so that your suggestions may be considered.

Geocache Description:

The cache is hidden about a mile SE of Marysville. You can drive within twenty feet of it. Be sure to note the important logging requirements below.

************LOGGING REQUIREMENTS************

Living in California, we are accustomed to seeing or hearing about Forts...for example, Fort Bragg, Fort Ord, Fort Ross, Sutter's Fort, Alcatraz, and the Presidio. Now there is one more, Fort Yuba. To log this cache, you must find a dozen caches with the word "Fort" in the title...no abbreviations, such as "Ft," and only one cache from a series.

There is no time limit, you may have already found the required caches. When logging this cache, list your requisite cache-finds as shown below...and be sure to include at least three categories (icons) in your list. And remember, if your hectic life is getting you down, you're welcome to seek shelter here at Fort Yuba...
