Difficulty enhanced due to muggle factor... This one could be considered a nano, BYOP and maybe a tweezer. Can't stress enough the need for stealth here since many mini-muggles and their muggle parents could be just hanging around. In the evenings, teenage muggles like to hang out here as well. Depending on the activity, and where you access the park, it could be a quick png too??
Located in John E. Ward Park, frequently referred to as Rocket Park.
In March 1965 a new park on the west side of Anoka was proposed by the Park Board in honor of John E Ward. Mr. Ward was the founder of Ward transfer. Started in 1908, it was the first commercial dray business in Minnesota. (Dray is defined as a vehicle used to haul cargo or goods, usually drawn by a horse) John Ward was an Anoka city commissioner for 32 years serving from 1912-1925 and again from 1941-1961.
According to articles at the Anoka County Historical Society, a new Rocket play structure was installed in 1989 to replace the older structure in an effort to improve safety. It is unclear if this one replaced the original one installed in 1965, or if others were placed before.
In 2006, the Rocket was replaced again by the current play structure.
The park also features a skate board area, and several softball fields.
