Geocache Description:

Where art meets industry.

Fo Tan - an area originally developed to house light industry, now largely taken over for commercial and artistic space.
In the late 1990s more and more industry left Hong Kong for the mainland, leaving areas like Fo Tan behind. There is not much industry left in Hong Kong these days - still Fo Tan's buildings house numerous small work shops and storage facilities.
Fo Tan is also known for it's artist community, Fotanian (visit link) The first studios were opened in 2001 (visit link) , and there are over 70 now, mostly centered around Wah Luen Industrial Building - the furthest away from the station, providing possibly the cheapest space in Hong Kong.

For the rest is Fo Tan one of the uglier parts of Hong Kong. An area so boring that most restaurants close before dinnertime, and where every evening around 18:00 a true exodus can be observed of workers returning home. Outside of office hours it resembles a ghost town.

So let's see who is so addicted to geocaching that they just have to go find this cache, which only contains a small log book, hidden at a location where your GPS can't get a proper fix due to the massive building blocks around it.

Cache is a camouflaged 400 ml container, hidden near Sha Tin Galleria, a small shopping mall and commercial building at the centre of Fo Tan.
