Gulval is a wonderful little village, with many Victorian houses, situated overlooking Mounts Bay.
Concecrated in 1336, with subsequent additions, the most prominent being the tower with its 8 bells erected in 1440, Gulval Church is the place that saw my baptism in 1950! The large stone lych gate was built in 1897 to celebrate the Jubilee of Queen Victoria.
'Noy' being a family name, there are several ancesters buried in the churchyard and included on the war memorial, which stands proud in the centre of the cemetary.
