Hazels Place Traditional Cache

This cache is temporarily unavailable.

Massquerade: Hello JMCB15,

I'm checking back in to look at the status of your cache after my last reviewer note. Your cache appears to be missing or in poor shape, and you have not responded with a note on your cache page. See the maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines for more info on your responsibilities as a cache owner.

If you still need some time to maintain your cache, please post a note here letting the geocaching community know you are still active and plan to maintain this cache at a future date. If/once the cache is in good shape, you can create a log using the "Enable Listing" option to re-enable your cache.

Whatever your intention, please post a note here on the cache page (not email) to let the community know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If 31 days pass without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.

Thank you,
Massquerade

Geocache Description:

This cache is placed in memory of a sweet old woman who used to live here. Hazel Capwell was a prominent member of the town of Exeter for many years. I have many fond memories of her and used to come to this very place as a child. MANY years later, I still remember the joy on her face when we would show up singing Christmas Carols. Nearby you can see the small foundation where Hazels home stood.

NOTE: As of 11-23-16, this cache, which was originally placed by KKENYON74, has been adopted by JMCB15.

Cache is now a small lock and lock container. There is no need to remove any rocks from the wall. Please handle with care, and be sure to properly reseal and rehide the cache. As with any hike through wooded areas, please be wary of thorns and poison ivy, and be prepared for bugs like ticks and mosquitos. Good luck and Happy Hunting!!!
