Canajorharie Riverfront Park Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

nwk_berlin: Until today I didn't realize that they've surrounded the cache with a construction area. I don't think that it's appropriate to ask cacher to cross the line to find the cache. I don't know how long this construction is going to last so I regret that I must archive this cache. I simply didn't see another hiding spot to move a cache of this size to.

Many thanks to those who visited my cache!

Geocache Description:

This should be an easy cache, even for kids. The hard part is using stealth. It is near the boat launch in Canajoharie so you can arrive by land or "by sea".

You are looking for a clear lock n lock container about 5" X 8*.

I have been coming to the Riverfront Park the last couple of years to go fishing, but it is really a pleasant place for other things.

I love the wide wooden "porch" type swings. There are also benches, picnic tables under a shelter, and handicapped parking. Boats on the canal can stay overnight with water and electrical hook-ups and garbage service. It's fun to stop by and watch how busy the canal has become. Or maybe you'll want to launch your kayak or boat from here and be part of the action?

ATTENTION ALL CACHERS! Check out the 2nd Berkshire Geobash (July 27, 2013) and spread the word—in 2012 we made it to mega status in our first year! GC3G4AY

There is room for some swag & trackables. For starters, I've placed some crayons, party pencils, glitter, and other things for the kids (young or old) and a pair of tweezers and a small ID tube to help you place your own cache. I've also dropped a couple of TBs.
