Geocache Description:

This cache is in Camp Salmen Nature Park, hours of operation are Wed. - Sun. from 9:00a.m. till dark. You will be looking for a camouflaged waterproof lock box. I made the terrain difficulity a 2 because of the area ( it's a nature park). Not good for wheelchairs. Good hunting.

This cache is in Camp Salmen Nature Park. Hours you can enter the park are Wednesday-Sunday for 9:00 a.m. till dark. We are hiding a camouflaged waterproof lock box on the third anniversary of the death of our granddaughter, Brittany, who passed away as a result of a car accident on April 9, 2008 at the age of 19. Included in the cache is a few necklaces and a log book and pencil. The log book is in memory of Brittany's Great Grandfather, something he used during his lifetime in his job to keep notes. I kept it for years and thought this would be a good thing to use for this cache, he would have love the game. We have also included a $10.00 Starbucks card for "First to Find". We thought this would be something Brittany would have liked because she loved to visit Starbucks and after Brittany's memorial, her mother and father were having a drink with family and friends at the local Starbucks, they were sitting outside, and as her Father raised his cup up to toast to her with the group, a shooting star flew across the sky, a sign from heaven that she was pleased and all was well. This memory will be with us always. She was our shining star while on this earth and we are sure she is a shining star in heaven above. Good hunting.
