Max's Lunch Traditional Cache

Max was a VP at our company who always pushed his development teams to the limit. He was known as a stickler for meeting schedules, keeping costs down and squeezing specifications. His groups' products tended to get out the door on time and meet their performance specifications; no more but no less. Max's teams usually got some sort of recognition at the end of their projects for their hard work and dedication.
One particular project for our major customer was running behind and team morale was lagging. Max promised the group that he'd treat them to lunch if the project shipped on time and met all requirements.
Since Max was known to enjoy good food and drink this incentive hit home and the team worked around the clock. The product shipped on time and was successful. True to his word, Max took everyone to lunch. But, instead of the elegant meal that was anticipated; the lunch was a hot dog and soda at the nearby warehouse store. As I said, Max was a stickler about cost and the lunch specification was left open to his interpretation.
