Located in the Willamtte Mission State Park which requires an entry permit. Observe park hours. Cache is placed near the trail as directed by the park ranger.
This area of the park is part of a forested retsoration. Many trees here were planted in 2002 as part of an effort to restore native plants to the area. Parking is a fair distance away as you are not allowed to park alongside the road. If it isn't flooded out, winter and early spring are the best times to go for this. When I hid this 2 different groups came by on the trail with their dogs and no one noticed me! I assume I was slightly downwind as I was shocked I was not detected by the dogs.
