How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

3 ½ miles down a mountain dirt road (closed to motorized vehicles) you will find this cache. You might want to bring some treats with you to bribe the “Road Guard”. Or maybe not, you should never feed the wild animals. But you might have to be patient waiting for the “Guard” to get bored staring at you… After the guard moves on you may continue your trek.

Along your trek you will get glimpses and grand views of the American River and then Silver Creek a thousand feet below you in the steep river canyon. On the other side huge outcroppings of stone.

At the end of the road not only will you be able to locate the cache, you will also get to see some interesting human made structures. Like to thank 3-Carver for wanting to head down here and Scoobert for inviting me to join in. We had a grand time, hope your adventure is fun filled too.
