The view over Havelock inspired the placing of this cache.
The site is not that inspiring, as i hoped to place cache further along the ridge but was beaten back by gorse, so this site is it. (Gorse free)
The cache has been in place for awhile, prior to listing it, thanks to Mr Beltfamily and geopopnz comments for prompting me to get it sorted.
There are two access points, one already has a cache placement at the start of a track, the other is at the top road summit, the choice is yours.
Expect to take 35-45 minutes to walk up from the top entry point.
MTB time would not be much quicker but the return would be enjoyed.
Note- track can become very slippery when wet.
Access by 4WD (real ones) is very apparent but dodgy in the wet (track is also prone to slips) May be along way to back out.
